- I keep getting "Problem : Cant find blob, clickthrough not available" errors.Please restart Skype. Sometimes the Skype API fails to pass the required chat information to Skowler, this can happen randomly and usually only once. If it is happening continuously a Skype restart will fix it.

Please ensure you have installed Skype Extras manager when you installed Skype. - Skype Home window / Skype main window pops up by itself once a day.
There is a small bug in Skowler with the current API version that makes Skowler think Skype is not running when it actually is. When Skowler is started with the "Start Skype" option enabled and Skype is already running it causes the Skype window to pop up when Skowler is started.
That being said, this issue will only occur with the Skowler app start up and does not explain why the Home window opens randomly once a day. There is no function in Skowler that opens the home window.
I have done some investigation and while I have found plenty of people experiencing this bug, there have been no clear answers as to why its happening. I have concluded (rightly or wrongly) that the new Facebook / Social media integrations have decided that the user has not updated their status today and pops up to "remind" you to do so. I have found that if you install the .msi version of Skype, the problem goes away; "The MSI version has Facebook integration and Click to Call features disabled. "

The auto update feature that is set to on as default or by manually clicking in the System menu will download a small .txt file to confirm the current version, no private information is transmitted.
Please ensure you have a legitimate copy of the Skowler installer by checking the MD5 on the download page against your copy. Skowler.com recommends HashTab for manually verifying file hashes. The auto update function does similar checks to ensure you have an un-altered legitimate copy of the Skowler installer.
